Product Manager – Enterprise Data Analytics and Insights

As a member of the Enterprise team, you will be responsible for our Data Insights strategic initiatives leveraging our standardized FHIR dataset and analytics technology. You will have the opportunity to work with other Solution teams across our business to understand data and insights needed, analyze data and/or APIs required to achieve outcomes, recommend data models, lead planning and provide implementation support of all things related to Data on FHIR.  You will collaborate with Enterprise leaders to translate strategic vision into defined plans that enhance and expand our data platform strategy, helping transform WellSky into a leading data driven technology provider, supporting health care providers and payors across the post-acute care continuum.

A day in the life!​ 

• Serve as the Product Owner for the Enterprise Data Sharing team, owning the backlog and refinement for sprint planning.
• In coordination with Enterprise Data Platform leadership, maintain solution roadmap for data sharing products based on internal and external WellSky needs, requirements, and resources.
• Serve as the voice of the client in decisions made regarding solutions, features, enhancements, and product adoptions.
• Create and collaborate in defining quality requirements, process refinements and operational support models with your engineering team in collaborate with other solution teams and data science.
• Set priorities for development efforts based on alignment with business goals, strategic direction, voice-of-the-client, timelines, and client commitments.
• Own and facilitate cross-functional coordination for adoption of Enterprise Data Sharing services with other WellSky solutions and internal teams.
• Work closely with Enterprise Data Platform leadership to provide product and project updates to inform with the rest of the organization.
• Serve as cross-functional expert of Data on FHIR at WellSky and have an understanding of best practices and industry standards.
• Create and work with internal stakeholders to define product training and other enablement materials.
• Create standard business cases aligned with organization goals and strategies.
• Perform other job duties as assigned.

Do you have what it takes?​ 

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 4-6 years related work experience, preferably in a data platform, software, or healthcare technology environment.
• Working knowledge in the space of big data and HL7 FHIR standards.
• Experience with software/application analysis and ability to dig deep to define user needs and identify product options to satisfy the need.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into simple, clear requirements for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience getting alignment and proposing roadmaps items and product increments.

Do you stand above the rest?​ 

Preferred Requirements:

• Experience managing healthcare data products in a HIPAA-compliant environment.
• Background in data engineering or data science, with a strong grasp of the data lifecycle, from ingestion to analytics.
• Previous experience working with data visualization or reporting tools like Looker or Sisense.
• Previous experience of delivering scalable data products that meet the needs of both business and technical teams.
• Experience with Google Cloud services, such as Cloud Run, Firestore, BigQuery, and Cloud Functions.
• Experience with scrum teams and/or agile methodologies.
• Experience with tools such as Jira, Miro, and Confluence.
• Experience managing small and medium sized projects.
