About the role

Company Description

Your role will primarily be to support on our Human Resource Information System (HRIS) through close collaboration with our Group Application Manager to meet TOMRA’s HR requirements against the HRIS. You contribute to a reliable, professional, and timely support for HR end users. You need to have a customer-centric approach to resolve issues. 
As a member of the global support team you will actively participate and contribute within the Group IT business unit, assuring we keep our (internal) customers productive by resolving issues and implementing change requests.

The responsibilities and task in the role will be - but not limited to:

  • Provide technical support via TOMRA helpdesk to resolve day-to-day incidents and change requests (on assigned priority).
  • Collect the required information to escalate to L3 support and help in troubleshooting.
  • Provide technical support for the yearly business processes (e.g Salary Planning, Performance Management).
  • Update and maintain operational documentation and guidelines.  
  • Ensure system compliance, data security, data integrity, and privacy according to requirements communicated by IT (Information Security) and/or People & Organization (P&O).
  • Manage and analyse large amounts of complex data from HRIS to provide a simplified view of required tactics to support business growth (reporting requirements defined by business). 
  • Act as subject matter expert and provide analysis of the data.  
  • In collaboration with the Group Application Manager, generating required analysis and configuration rationales.

In this role, it will be a benefit if you have knowledge of other centrally managed HR Applications, and depending on your previous experience and knowledge you may also be engaged in the following activities:

  • Identify system improvements and enhancements and recommend solutions including change requests towards the vendor.
  • Training of other Application Specialists and HR users.

Qualifications

To be considered a candidate for this role, you must have the following: 

  • US citizenship or a valid passport allowing you to also travel to Norway and other TOMRA locations from your first day of employment.
  • BA/BSc in IT or other relevant area.
  • Knowledge of application management.
  • ITIL (high-level understanding of framework, detailed knowledge of incident, change and release processes).
  • Testing competence.
  • Knowledge of HRIS software such as Sage and PeopleSoft.
