Job Description
This opportunity is part of the US Technology Solution Readiness team where our mission is to deliver limitless technology solutions that make our Guest experience convenient and delightful, and enable Crew, Managers, and Owner Operators to Run Great Restaurants! Our technology powers all 13,000+ US restaurants and enables restaurant teams to serve millions of customers daily!
The Manager of Solutions Readiness oversees product release lifecycle, including roadmap development, feature prioritization, and requirements management for the Back Office Profitability application, with focus on performance, stability, and scalability specific to Cash and Inventory Management. The Back Office Profitability solution is comprised of multiple integrated products and development vendors, so coordination of dependencies, priorities, and capacity planning are key to success. In this role, you will partner with operations, technology, and vendor teams to drive the sustainability and longevity of the application while influencing internal and vendor product roadmaps. Success in this role hinges on close collaboration and proactive engagement with strategic technology vendor responsible for developing and hosting the system.
Key stakeholders include internal product teams such as Sesame (point of sale), Digital, Payments, Finance, Supply Chain, US Owner Operators, Operations, as well as external vendor teams. Close partnership and active management of strategic technology vendor is critical to success.
Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the product roadmap for profitability application.
- Collaborate on product vision and ensure alignment with business goals and user needs.
- Create, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog, ensuring that the most valuable and strategically aligned features are delivered.
- Work with stakeholders to gather and clarify requirements, translating them into user stories with detailed acceptance criteria.
- Understand and communicate business needs to the development team and ensure stakeholders are informed of progress and updates.
- Assist in leading vendor development to deliver enhancements needed to support enhancements and new Point of Sale, Digital, Payments and Supply Chain integrated features (includes backlog grooming, requirement gathering, scope planning, testing coordination, etc.).
- Maintain organized oversight of specific product delivery schedules to ensure proper balance of features, timing, and integration with other functions, and communicate in coordination with other product teams.
- Assist and be the subject matter expert on features and capabilities to development partners and other product teams to ensure alignment.
- Manage internal and partner relationships to lead to successful, collaborative outcomes.
- Ensure scalability, security, and reliability are prioritized in the development process.
