Solution Architect - Azure

Solutions Architect – Azure:

As a Solutions Architect – Azure you will partner with the customer’s engineering and business stakeholders to deliver Public Cloud solutions that satisfy their technical and cost requirements. This role will be responsible for the creation of the solution, rationalization of the solution, presentation/communication of the solution, and guides the implementation. The role provides continual solutioning to existing customers, as well as continually guides the engineering teams on customer requirements and implementation.

Responsibilities:

• Excellent written, verbal communication skills, presentation, and collaboration skills.
• Deep, hands-on technical expertise in Azure core services.
• Works on pre-sales agreements and customer contracts.
• Acts as a liaison between the sales and engineering teams to provide optimal solution to the customers.
• Conducts sales enablement sessions to coach sales team on new offerings.
• Analyzes customer's business and technical requirements, assesses existing environment for cloud enablement, and advises on cloud models, technologies, and risk management strategies.
• Designs cloud solutions that address scalability, performance, security, availability, and cost transformation requirements.
• Designs solutions for blue/green deployment on EKS/AKS.
• Creates and designs solutions that match customer requirements, conforms to reference architectures, are straight forward to implement, and are easy to maintain.
• Experience in On-Prem to Public Cloud infrastructure migrations.
• Experience in migration/deployment of applications to cloud, re-engineering of application for cloud, and setting up OS and app environments in public cloud.
• Exposure to Service-Oriented / Application / Infrastructure / Enterprise Architecture, and development experience in Web Services and Java / MS Technologies and/or Python using Boto library.
• Good knowledge of Agile processes (planning/stand-ups/ retros etc.) and interacts with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Azure Solutions Architect AZ-305
• 5- 7 years of in-depth experience designing solutions in Azure services, software design approaches, networking concepts, Cloud Domain, multi-technology platform applications, human/document workflow, service-oriented architecture (SOA), data analytics, security, etc.) in a solution architecture capacity.
• Exceptional communication skills required to visualize, depict, and convey complex concepts to a broadly diverse audience including technical and business audiences.
• Strong leadership skills and demonstrated experience with program/projects involving complex integration of disparate types of technologies/platforms and large cross functional technical teams.
• Systems implementation skills including requirements/process analysis, conceptual and detailed design, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Public Cloud native development and DevOps.
• Must be able to manage multiple priorities utilizing strong planning and organizational skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Similar experience with AWS Solution Architecture design.
