PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
Responsible for coordinating crews, preparing, handling, and supplying materials to be used by other crafts.

KEY RESULT AREAS (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)
A. Read blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures
B. Supervise and coordinate activities of laborers and their assigned roles
C. Interpret specifications, blueprints and job orders
D. Interpret company policies to workers and enforce safety regulations
E. Establish and adjust work sequences to meet construction schedule, using knowledge capacities of equipment and assigned personnel
F. Study/analyze in schedules and estimate worker-hour requirements for completion of job
G. Analyze and resolve work problems
H. Maintain time records
I. Make cost estimate for contracts
1. Use logical step-by-step procedures in work
2. Plan work and solve problems
3. Make decisions based on measurable information
4. May operate machinery
J. Provide work direction to laborer I, II, Journeyman, Apprentice, and Helpers
K. Work according to standard, detailed instructions and established, well-defined procedures
L. Determine work method from alternative

N. Effectively work and build relationships with those of diverse backgrounds and organizational levels
O. Lead team members by example, offer effective coaching and feedback, and effectively manage performance
P. All other duties as assigned

Ability to work with tools and equipment such as, power and non-powered hand tools, vibrators, pumps, drills and jackhammers, forklifts, skid loaders and power buggy’s

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Minimum three years of related solar experience (required)
Leadership or Foreman experience (preferred)
Current driver’s license
