Role

The Software Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist ensures the delivery of high-quality software by developing and executing test plans, conducting manual and automated testing, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. This role is key in validating ERP systems, mobile applications, and web applications to ensure they meet business requirements and user expectations. The QA Specialist works closely with developers, business analysts, and product owners to align software delivery with business goals and maintain high-quality standards.

Min Compensation

USD $65,000.00/Yr.

Max Compensation

USD $80,000.00/Yr.

Responsibilities

  • Develops, executes, and maintains comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for ERP systems, mobile applications, and web applications
  • Conducts both manual and automated testing to identify defects, usability issues, and performance bottlenecks
  • Collaborates with developers, business analysts, and product owners to understand requirements and ensure the delivery of high-quality software
  • Identifies, documents, and tracks defects using issue-tracking software, working closely with the development team to drive resolution
  • Performs regression testing to verify that existing functionality remains intact with each new release
  • Validates software functionality against both business and technical requirements
  • Assists in defining and implementing QA processes, best practices, and test automation strategies
  • Actively participates in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives as part of the Agile development process
  • Provides constructive feedback and recommendations to drive continuous improvements in software quality
  • Ensures compliance with company quality standards and applicable regulatory requirements
  • Completes assigned tasks in a safe, accurate, thorough, and alert manner
  • Upholds Company policies and procedures
  • Works in a professional manner with managers, supervisors, coworkers, customers, and the public
  • Other related job duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Proficient in SQL and database testing
  • Familiar with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
  • Strong problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Deep understanding of software testing methodologies, including functional, regression, performance, and usability testing
  • Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) is a plus
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Macros, Formulas)
  • Ability to coordinate, contribute to, and collaborate within cross-functional teams
  • Thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments while managing multiple priorities
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision and take initiative to complete assignments
