Job Description
We are looking for a software project manager to Lead a team of software engineers with responsibility for all aspects of the development life-cycle for the active safety products (Bosch ESP, IPB) for our customers.
Key Job Responsibilities includes:
- Setup software project structure according to SW project targets.
- Responsible for planning, tracking, timely delivery and quality of customer releases.
- Drive technical clarifications to implement customer requirements and defined technical content according to project targets.
- Ensure software quality and compliance with software development process.
- Prepare and reach approval for software releases and quality gate reviews.
- Regularly prepare and report software project status to management.
- Support assessments and audits to verify applicable quality and safety standards.
- Establish, cultivate and maintain a positive customer relationship (both internal & external).
- As part of an international and innovative team, work together to develop high-quality solutions for our customer.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- 3 to 5 years’ experience in automotive embedded software development.
- Strong Project Management skills.
- Creativity and openness to work with dynamic customers.
- Strong multitasking skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
- Excellent team player and skills in interacting with global clients.
- Excellent problem solving skills.
Preferred:
- Experience with software development processes, and one or more of the standards such as: Automotive SPICE, CMMI
- Experience working in a safety critical systems environment (ISO26262)
- Good written / verbal communication and presentation skills to discuss issues / solutions with team and external customer.
- Able to structure, moderate and promote collaboration with international teams, negotiate with customer, support global organization.
- Willing to work independently in a structured fashion with strong analytical skills that supports a systematic approach to problem resolution and strong communication skills to discuss challenges with global development teams and external customers.
- Experience working in Agile teams, flexible, innovative, able to work across different cultures, regions, and in a remote/hybrid distributed team.
