Job Title: Software Integration Engineer

Location: Eglin AFB, FL - Niceville, FL

Duties:

· Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Linux and Python to communicate with test equipment

· Interface with test equipment via Ethernet and Serial communication protocols.

· Design and execute test plans for hardware and software systems.

· Create modular and reuseable test automation frameworks to support scalable testing.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify testing requirements.

· Document test procedures and results for traceability and compliance.

Requirements:

· Bachelor's or master's degree in an applicable discipline.

· 3-10 years' experience.

· Experience with conducting automated tests, analyzing results, and validating system performance against defined specifications, identifying defects and performance bottlenecks.

· Strong proficiency in programming in Python and C++ on Linux systems.

· Competency developing for real time operating system (RTOS) environments.

· Solid understanding of test automation principles and software testing methodologies.

· Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, team-orientated environment.

Security Clearance: Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret security clearance.

Other Essential Job Functions:

· Experience with RF test equipment (e.g., spectrum analyzers, signal generators, network analyzers) and RF testing methodologies.

· Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines for test automation.

· Understanding of hardware-software integration and debugging tools (e.g. Oscilloscopes, logic analyzers).

· Familiarity with Hierarchical Data Formats (e.g., HDF5).
