Salesforce Inc. seeks Software Engineering SMTS in San Francisco, CA:

Job Duties: Build mission-critical, highly customized internal tools to operationalize, enhance, and support Salesforce platforms. Formulate, evaluate, and implement complex algorithms in Java for platform and application features. Code in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for mid-to-back end development. Develop business and logic features. Collaborate with Quality Engineering, Product Management, and Technical Operations teams to develop, test, and deploy software for highly scalable, multi-threaded applications. Identify and resolve complex technical issues. Analyze, design, and develop test cases and automated test suites. ˆHQ address additionally encompasses the following Salesforce locations in San Francisco: 350 Mission Street, 415 Mission Street, and 50 Fremont Street. The permanent position may be offered at any of these locations in San Francisco. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Engineering, or closely related quantitative discipline, and one (1) year of experience in job offered or in any occupation in a related field.

A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Engineering).

Special Skill Requirements: (1) Java; (2) Algorithms; (3) SQL; (4) Front-end technologies including PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; (5) Servlets; (6) SDLC and development roadmap creation; (7) Distributed Systems and Concurrency controls; (8) Agile Methodologies; (9) Data Science techniques – Preference Modeling, Time-series Forecasting, Clustering, or Classification; (10) Web services – WSDL, SOAP, or REST. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.

Salary: $181,272.00 - $227,700.00 per annum.
