Salesforce Inc. seeks Software Engineering MTS in San Francisco, CA:

Job Duties: Develop highly scalable internal applications end to end involving heavy amounts of technical research, architecture planning, organization and extensive coding in multiple languages that will be deployed in production. Deliver fast and reliable code utilizing knowledge of Go, Python, Java, Docker, and ElasticSearch. Collaborate with team members to develop new application features and enhance existing code and framework. Support the entirety of Salesforce, Inc.’s Database Fleet, inventory management, and configuration auditing. Participate in patching operations and automations using technologies like Oracle Database, Puppet, RAC, and AWS cloud technologies. Support existing and future automation, asset inventory control, database and systems configuration management to support Customer Trust and Security and system availability. Participate in code reviews, code debugging, system security, system vulnerability remediation, future software architecture, product development and deployment. ˆHQ address additionally encompasses the following Salesforce locations in San Francisco: 350 Mission Street, 415 Mission Street, 50 Fremont Street. The permanent position may be offered at any of these locations in San Francisco. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in a related field.

A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Engineering (any field)).

Special Skill Requirements: (1) Developing high-end, robust, and scalable products; (2) Performing data analysis; (3) Building UI/UX web applications; (4) HTML5; (5) Developing and implementing software features; (6) Angular; (7) Kubernetes; (8) Docker; (9) ElasticSearch; and (10) REST API. 

Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.

Salary: $147,368.00 - $188,600.00 per annum.
