About the Internship:
As our Summer 2024 Software Engineering intern you will have the opportunity to work with one of our development teams to add new features to our back office configuration tool using Ruby on Rails and React. You will leverage both your backend and frontend skills, and engage with the entire Agile software development lifecycle.

Our 8-week summer internship class runs from June 3rd - July 26th 2024.

What You’ll Do:

• Work with our Product and Engineering teams to define, plan features for our internal configuration tool
• Implement your plan in a Ruby on Rails and React application
• Collaborate with developers to build and debug your solution
• Work with User experience experts to explore design elements
• Work with DevOps to deploy your solution
• Experience the full agile process from story creation to retrospectives
• Setup modern observability and monitoring for your solution

You’re a great fit for this Internship if:

• You are pursuing an Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering
• You have experience or interested in React framework
• You have experience or interest in Ruby on Rails backend systems
• You have experience or an interest in learning how to call REST APIs from a React browser app
• You have a good understanding of relational database structure and design
• You are familiar with the principles of Agile software development
• You’re excited to work in a highly collaborative development environment

Environmental Job Requirements and Working Conditions:

• This internship is remote, U.S. based
• This internship is $20/hour for 35 hours per week
• Our 8-week summer internship class runs from June 3rd 2024 - July 26th
