The Mobile Platform team is part of In-Life domain, whose mission is to build amazing customer journeys to create a seamless and enjoyable user experience to power our Plan Zero mission. The Mobile Platform team enables other front end teams by creating a performant, flexible architecture that’s easy to build upon.

This role in a nutshell:

We're looking for an experienced React Native developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal person will have proven experience building and maintaining mobile applications in production environments.

You’ll work closely to support our delivery driven teams and product managers where needed. We have a very strong engineering culture that’s all about empowerment and ownership: all to solve one of the world's biggest challenges.

You’ll be a successful React Native Engineer at OVO if you…

• Experienced in React Native / JavaScript / TypeScript
• Have experience working on an ejected React Native application in production
• Have experience with some (but not all) of the following:
• Push Notifications
• A/B Testing/Experimentation
• OTA updates
• React Native version upgrades
• Mobile deployment pipelines
• Mobile performance, analytics & monitoring
• App review processes
• Native development (iOS or Android)
• Building platforms, packages or documentation for other developers
• Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Love writing scalable, resilient, performant code

We’ll pay you between £55,770 and £74,000, depending on your specific skills and experience.

We keep our pay ranges broad on purpose to give us, and you, flexibility to match your experience to our zero carbon mission.
