Lockheed Martin Aeronautics in Orlando, FL is seeking a Summer 2026 Intern Software Quality Engineer. In this role, you will evaluate process/product performance, interface with software engineering to ensure processes and products are compliant to contractual requirements. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of system/software dependencies, process flow and development methodologies; support to System & Software Engineering requirements, design, integration and test activities in an Agile Development Framework (in particular DevSecOps).

Must be a US Citizen This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree from an accredited college in one of the following disciplines; Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related discipline.

• Understanding or experience in system/software dependencies, process flow and development methodologies.

• Understanding or experience supporting System & Software Engineering requirements, design, integration and test activities in an Agile Development Framework (in particular DevSecOps)

• Familiarity Quality Management Systems and Standards

Desired skills

• Familiarity or experience with information systems technology

• Root Cause Analysis methodologies and development of Corrective Action Plans

• Familiarity with Lean/Six Sigma (LSS) principles

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment

• Proficient with Microsoft Office
