The IBCS International Franchise team has an immediate need for a Software Engineer/Principal Software Engineer. The position will support the entire IBCS International Franchise, of which there are several countries in play, and potential for M&SA (Modeling & Sim/Analysis) work for any/all.   This work is primarily object-oriented programming and implementation of communication protocols between low- to medium-fidelity data-driven models of missile defense systems.

Basic Qualifications:

• Software Engineer: 2 Years with Bachelors in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM); or Masters Degree
• Principal Software Engineer: 5 Years with Bachelors in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM); 3 Years with Masters; 1 Year with PhD
• Active Secret Security Clearance
• Experience with C++
• Experience with Integrated Air and Missile Defense Test Exerciser (ITEx)
• Experience with Modeling & Simulation

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Integrated Battle Command System (IBCS)
• Experience with ACE
• Experience with MATLAB

Primary Level Salary Range: $85,400.00 - $128,000.00

Secondary Level Salary Range: $105,400.00 - $158,000.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
