Software Engineer | Payments

About the Role

We're hiring a Full Stack Engineer to help build our client’s hugely impactful product, set to be a leading driver of company revenue and expansion. You will be one of the first to join the new payments team and have the opportunity to create the new platform from scratch.

This role will include:

• Scoping, designing, and implementing key aspects of the new payments platform

• Designing, building, and maintaining platform APIs, services, dashboards and user interfaces to provide payments-related services to our customers in a scalable, robust, and safe fashion

• Integrating with external Payment providers

• Helping grow the foundations of the engineering team’s organization, from the process, to mentoring and culture

About You

Are you a high-impact engineer excited about building a brand new product? An effective collaborator who enjoys learning, teaching, and solving problems across platforms would be a great candidate to join the payments crew!

What you've accomplished:

-4+ years of strong technical background, and proven track record of shipping quality software 

-Full-stack experience working with Node, React, TypeScript,GraphQL and PostgreSQL (or comparable stack)

-Reliably writing clean and performant code, diving deep when necessary

-Experience and passion for working on whatever part of the stack is necessary to solve the problem at hand

-B.S. in CS or a related field, or equivalent experience

-Prior knowledge in the financial technology space (e.g. payments processing, banking / credit card APIs, etc.) is a great bonus!
