Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Software Engineer (Mid-Level) to join our team.  This is a 100% Remote Opportunity.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Designs software components, units, and modules that meet product specification and development schedules for customers

  • Codes software components, units, and modules that meet product specification and development schedules for customers

  • Adheres to product build and release schedules and strategies

  • Tests and debugs complex software components and units

  • Collaboratively work as part of an agile team with participation in regular, recurring Scrum events (e.g., Daily Scrum, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospective)

  • Adhere to product build and release schedules, strategies, and other team norms

  • Design, write, test, troubleshoot, and document application code to successfully satisfying the team’s Definition of Done to deliver project-based work using Microsoft Power Platform, which includes PowerApps, Power Automate in particular (and potentially Power BI and Dataverse)

  • Codes software components, units, and modules that meet product specification and development schedules for customers

  • Collaborate with other members of the development team and program team to deliver solutions that surpass client expectations while meeting project timelines

  • Learn new technologies, build awareness of industry standards, best practices, and trends. Share this knowledge with the Scrum team and broader program team

  • Train and support clients on using solutions built using Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate

  • Develop and update project related process documents, artifacts, and training materials

  • Track work using a ticketing/issue management system (i.e., currently Azure DevOps)

Basic Qualifications:

  • Background investigation required

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 5+ years developing, configuring, deploying and/or migrating applications using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps) and Power Automate

  • 5+ years' experience in designing web applications, RESP APIs and database scheme with UI/UX focus

  • 5+ years’ experience in software design & development, including leveraging Web Services and APIs

  • Strong experience in JavaScript/TypeScript, especially using one or more modern frameworks such as React

  • Extensive experience working as part of a Scrum (or other an agile framework)

  • Ability to perform unit, system, interface, and other testing associated with the application and its corresponding system interface areas, as well as provide guidance and assistance to client staff to support these testing activities

  • Ability to contribute to a variety of roles in software development, such as requirements definition, systems analysis, architecture, design, development, configuration, testing, debugging, and documentation

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming

  • SharePoint Online

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • US citizenship with Background Check

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.

  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.

  • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.

The projected compensation range for this position is $84,900-$141,100. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
