About the Role:

The Team:

The Analytics Engineering team is responsible for developing workflow, analytical and publishing products that helps our analysts.  We build products using BPM, Web and Desktop technologies. The team has a broad and expert knowledge on Ratings organization’s critical data domains, technology stacks and architectural patterns, fosters knowledge sharing and collaboration that results in a unified strategy. 

Responsibilities and Impact:

• Develop web applications using Java/.Net/React/Angular
• Develop Data Engineering solutions using Python, Scala, Databricks.
• Focus on growing as an engineer, learning algorithms, existing tools, resources and processes.
• Develops their productivity skills by learning source control, editors, the build system, and other tools as well as testing best practices.

Compensation/Benefits Information: (This section is only applicable to US candidates)

S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $110,000 to $125,000. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications.

In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.

• Capable of taking well-defined sub-tasks and completing these tasks.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

• Financial services industry experience is an added advantage.
• Databricks experience or certifications is an added advantage.
