Responsibilities
Noblis is seeking to hire a Software Developer with an ACTIVE Top Secret Clearance.
As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining innovative software solutions. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand user requirements and translate them into functional software applications. You will utilize your expertise to write clean, efficient, and scalable code. You will perform rigorous testing and debug applications to ensure high performance and reliability.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the design, development, testing, and management of the application development projects in support of IT infrastructure. This includes the programmatic integration of third-party components, the introduction of new custom capabilities, modification of existing code, process improvement recommendation, and automation of operations and maintenance tasks.
- Develop and implement technical efforts to design, build, and deploy applications at the direction of lead architects, including large-scale data processing, computationally intensive statistical modeling, and advanced analytics.
- Duties include technical project milestone reviews, code architecture sessions, resource estimation, and development best practices knowledge transfer.
- Resolve customer complaints with software and respond to suggestions for improvements and enhancements.
- Work with application development tools, standards and languages.
- May assist in development of software user manuals.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (in computer science, data science, or other related analytical, scientific, or technical discipline) with 8 years of experience; Additional six (6) years of experience is considered in lieu of a degree.
- Experience participating in all aspects of the software development life cycle for all solutions, including planning, requirements, development, testing, and quality assurance.
- Strong self-organization and self-management skills, with emphasis on self-initiation, teamwork and follow through.
- Strong professional and interpersonal skills.
- Strive to improve yourself, team, and process through teamwork, communication, idea-sharing, collaboration, and problem-solving.
- Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with C/C++, Java, C# OR .net
- Experience with Javascript, HTML/CSS OR scripting.
- Experience with Cloud Terrafom, ElasticSearch, SpringBoot, Nifi, Databrick, Lakehouse, Apache Tika, OR AWS SQS.Experience operating in a scaled agile (SAFe) environment.
- Experience with Atlassian Suite of tools; Jira, Confluence.
