Role and Responsibilities

We are responsible for the whole stack from infrastructure to support the platform at a global scale, to core eCommerce micro services, and web and mobile experiences. Responsibilities:

• Expanding the feature set of the platform in an extensible and scalable manner
• Work end to end on micro-services and SPAs built on cutting edge technologies like Nodejs, Golang and React
• Work with great Engineers and solve difficult problems aimed at making the Customer experience seamless
• Get challenged on your DS & Algorithm skills and Design patterns every day
• Get the experience of building products from the scratch and taking them all the way to production
• Learn from veterans on the nuances of building software as well as get guidance on your career growth
• Work with business and provide solutions to problems faced by customers
• Write and test product or system development code, that power our apps, microservices and the commerce transactions.
• 'Participate in, or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide optimal solution to business problems and be able to build the solution independently with the guidance of Leads & Managers.
• Review code developed by other developers, and provide feedback to ensure best practices
• Ability to document the technical design and approach for the features developed by you or your team.
• Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors / Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related field in a reputed institution
• 2+ years professional experience in software development with most of them from a product company
• Good communication and design skills
• Good analytical and programming skills
• Strong problem-solving skills, with data structures and algorithms
• Good understanding of Computer Science fundamentals, including Object oriented concepts
• Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases
• Proficient in Java/JavaScript/Python frameworks and event/message driven systems like ElasticSearch, Kafka/RMQ, etc.
• Mandatory Skills: NodeJs, ReactJs, VueJs, JavaScript, HTML, CSS
• Nice to have Skills: NextJs
• Experience with working in Linux based environment
• Familiar with building web applications and services that run on cloud
• Quick learner with passion to learn and adapt to new technologies
