The Expertise and Skills You Bring

• Experience designing and developing RESTful services using Java/J2EE, Spring/Spring-boot, Spring Security, Swagger, Docker, YAML, JSON
• Experience building Single Page Applications (SPAs) and reusable web components using Angular Typescript, JavaScript, NgRx, Node.js, NPM, CSS3, HTML5
• Experience with building and maintaining unit tests and mock services using JUnit, Mockito unit testing frameworks
• Experience with object-oriented programming principles and standard design patterns
• Passionate about writing clean, testable, readable, and easily maintainable code with a test-first development approach
• Hands-on experience with API design & development, AWS/Azure (Cloud) Development
• Experience working with CI/CD pipeline, Jenkins, Artifactory, Docker, AKS, uDeploy, Datadog, and Sonar
• Understanding and some experience working and integrating with database technologies
• Comfortable working in an Agile software delivery environment, proficient with Agile methodologies
• Strong analytical, communication and preparation skills and the ability to run with multiple tasks at a given time

Any combination of the following is a plus:

• Experience on Python scripting
• Experience with Test/Automation tools - Cucumber, Mockito, Selenium or any other mocking framework
• Experience with Drupal

The Value You Deliver

• Daily activities will involve designing, development, automated testing, meeting with technology peers (including architecture) to work through technical designs, supporting other developers on the team with their work, and participating in Agile ceremonies (Daily Stand up, Backlog grooming, Retrospective meetings)
• Captures requirements and runs or participates in the systems design effort.
• Develop maintainable standard and scalable solutions. Ensure the junior team members follow the same principles.
• Adhering to project timelines, addressing, and resolving technical issues.
• Ensuring code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing are completed efficiently and effectively.
• Fosters teamwork/motivation and spirit of collaboration with project team and business and systems partners
• Providing technical leadership and mentoring to more junior team members.
