• Work in the software engineering team to develop robotics industrial solutions, using primarily JavaScript, CSS, and PHP.
• Applying robotics domain knowledge to analyze the shortcomings and improve existing systems.
• Design and build systems to constantly be at the cutting edge of the robotics industry.
• Solidify and stabilize core robot functionality, including and not limited to computer vision, sensing, localization, robot controls, uptime, and network communications.
• Define, scope, and prototype through requirements, feature design, and code development.
• Actively manage issues, risk and schedule throughout the project and participation in usability test activities.
• Actively collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize design, ensure functionality, support software training and documentation.

Minimum Qualifications

• Requires a Master’s degree and/or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Entertainment Technology, or related field. Position also requires completion of a university-level course, research project, or internship involving each of the following skills:
• 1. Researching and/or working in Robotics
• 2. Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures and algorithms
• 3. Web software development using JavaScript and CSS
• 4. Building applications in modern Javascript technologies such as ReactJS or Angular.
