This position is eligible for a flexible work schedule arrangement at the present time. The arrangement may be delayed for training or other job acclimation purposes and remains subject to change.
Your Responsibilities
As a Software Engineer for Deere & Company Computer Center located in Moline, IL, you will:
- Collaborate within a full stack agile team to design and develop solutions focused on implementing self-service and automation capabilities for enterprise integration with Identity and Access Management products.
- Gain in-depth understanding of the application development environment and engage with the developers' community to offer guidance on Application and API security standards, as well as configure security integrations with Identity Providers (e.g., Okta).

What Skills You Need
- 3 years of experience in developing applications using modern technology stacks, including React, NodeJS, and the AWS cloud platform.
- 2 years of experience in Application and API security for integration with Identity Providers (IdP).
- Background in the information security domain, with 2 years of experience in designing Application and API security using industry best practices, such as SAML, OIDC, and OAuth protocols.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
What Makes You Stand Out
- Proficiency in Application/API Security standards and Identity Access Management functions, including Single Sign-On (SSO).
- Background in DevSecOps and agile Engineering practices.
- Experience in developing web-based applications and designing security for APIs.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities with both technical and non-technical individuals
Education
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a Technology related discipline.
