About the Role:
Grade Level (for internal use):
09As a Software Engineer based out of our New York City Headquarters, you will join a team that is composed of highly skilled and supportive individuals, with each engineer contributing uniquely to serve our U.S.-based car dealers and manufacturers. The development team oversees and takes ownership of the entire system development life cycle.
A successful Software Engineer will:
Take ownership of assigned deliverables, both in terms of timeliness and software quality.
Develop new software, and enhance existing software, to high standards. Adhere to best practices that enhance user experience, usability, scalability, performance and security.
Learn about various components owned by the team and how these components fit within the overall platform.
Effectively communicate with all stakeholders including regular progress and updates to your manager, peers and leads.
Who you are:
2+ years of software engineering experience
Working knowledge of .Net and C#, JavaScript, jQuery, Typescript, React, HTML5, Bootstrap, CSS
Working knowledge of object-oriented design techniques and RESTful API implementations
Proficient with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies like Agile.
Good experience with developing solutions involving SQL and NoSQL database technologies such as MongoDB and Postgres.
Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only):
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $69,661 to $125,000. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographical location as well as experience and qualifications for the role.
In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.

Expected hours of work:
This is a full-time position. Generally, work is performed Monday through Friday, though holidays and weekends may be required. Currently our teams work 2 days per week in the office - subject to change in the future.
