Software Engineer III (999-230103)

• Implement cloud infrastructure, systems, and processes for software and platforms related to business intelligence, analytics, data science, and data products.
• Improve system quality by identifying issues and common patterns and developing standard operating procedures.
• Collaborate with development teams, data scientists, business users, project managers, and other engineers to achieve elegant solutions.
• Enhance applications by identifying opportunities for improvement, make recommendations, and design and implement systems.
• Maintain and improve existing codebases and peer review code changes and liaise with colleagues to implement technical designs.
• Responsible for analyzing, designing, and developing tests and test-automation suites.
• Design and develop a processing platform using various configuration management technologies and provide ongoing maintenance, support, and enhancements in existing systems and platforms.

Requirements

1. Master’s degree in Computer Science or closely related field.
2. Three (3) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation, including software development and data engineering.
3. Additional experience must include:

• Java, Python, SQL, and JavaScript
• Development using AWS CLOUD-NATIVE applications
• EC2, S3, ECS, ECR
• Deployment and administration of tools, including Reltio, Amundsen, Privacera and Protegrity
• Bitbucket and Github integration
• Jenkins, Artifactory, Jfrog, Docker, and Snowflake
• Kubernetes using EKS on AWS
• Provisioning AWS resources using Terraform and/or CloudFormation scripts
• Troubleshooting issues on CICD pipeline, EKS infrastructure, Git, or cloud infrastructure
• Building scalable production systems (load balancers, master/slave architectures)
• Security and Compliance tools, including AWS Security Hub, AWS Inspector, and AWS Config
• Developing and deploying serverless architectures using Lambda and Fargate
• Requirements analysis, software design, development, testing, implementation, integration, deployment/installation, and maintenance

Must be eligible for Public Trust Clearance.
