Interesting Problems You’ll Get to Solve

• Design, develop, and deliver well-tested, maintainable code for early-stage products and experiments that may one day reshape our core offerings
• Embrace a fail-fast mindset—build quickly, validate continuously, and pivot based on learning and evidence

• Build MVPs with modern full-stack technologies, including .NET Core, React, and mobile platforms (React Native, iOS, Android)

• Apply TDD, modern CI/CD practices, and architectural patterns like microservices, event sourcing, and CQRS to create scalable, production-ready experiments

• Share insights, proof points, and demos that influence broader product and engineering decisions across ZIP

What You’ll Bring to the Team

Essential:

• 5+ years of experience as a software engineer in agile, cloud-native environments
• 2+ years of mobile platforms (iOS, Android, or React Native)
• Proficiency in .NET Core for backend development
• Experience with React JS for modern web interfaces
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and services (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP)
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design and best practices
• Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD)
• Experience with utilizing AI to generate code

Desired:

• Background in building distributed systems and microservice architectures
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and container orchestration
• Knowledge of event-based architectures, including event sourcing
• Familiarity with CQRS, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), and EventStore DB
• A growth mindset and genuine interest in exploring new ways to solve complex problems
