As a Software Engineer II, you will be involved in the development of state-of-the-art communications systems by implementing embedded software communications protocols, encryption algorithms, and/or platform software for our sophisticated software-defined radios that enable pilots and soldiers to transfer data, voice, and imagery over the air. What YOU will do:

  • Design & Develop: You will craft high-performance, multi-threaded embedded software solutions in C and C++, driving innovation in complex code bases.
  • Integrate & Support: You will seamlessly integrate software components and collaborate across teams to enhance communications products.
  • Collaborate & Execute: You will participate in specifying requirements, developing test cases, and executing verification tests to ensure robust software performance.
  • Coordinate & Assist: You Will help organize project tasks and coordinate with the team to ensure smooth progress and timely completion of goals.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • ​​Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations. 
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
  • Must have or be capable of obtaining a US Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance.  Candidate selected will be subject to a government security investigation/reinstatement and must meet eligibility requirements.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Active US Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance
  • Working knowledge and competency with C, C++ and/or Linux 
  • Experience coding in an embedded environment 
  • Skill set includes multi-threaded development
