Software Engineer II - DevOps / Infrastructure

The Platform Engineering team is looking for a Software Engineer II; this team builds automation and services that focus on infrastructure configuration, management, orchestration, and observability. The team plays an active role working with feature teams to enable innovation and reduce time to market, by providing the toolset for modern application and infrastructure development, deployment, and observability. 
We have broad goals of where we want to be, but we need your expertise in achieving them, while supporting mission-critical system infrastructure and enabling large-scale distributed systems. You will be part of a team that builds the foundation to support a hybrid cloud environment, developing tools and processes that have a direct impact on how application developers deploy and manage their applications on an elastic infrastructure. 

We would like to see someone who has:

• 3-5 years, or equivalent demonstration, of relevant work experience in software development 
• Experience in infrastructure and/or DevOps engineering, with expertise in general-purpose programming languages (e.g., C#, Python, Java) 
• A professional history of consistently executing with agility resulting in high-quality outcomes 
• Experience designing and developing solutions to complex problems with significant business impact 

As a member of the Platform Engineering team at StubHub, you’ll be able to:

• Build out an automated infrastructure configuration, provisioning, and management solution 
• Improve our application build and deployment system and our observability platform, moving us towards automated rollouts 
• Contribute to the organization's migration to cloud native technologies, including POC/investigations around the direction/functionality we want to support 
• Manage individual initiative priorities, deadlines, and deliverables with your technical expertise
