Job Description:

Department Overview:

The Software Engineer I performs activities developing components of solutions with a focus on analytics, support, testing, and proof of concepts aligned to business and technology objectives. 

Provides a broad range of system solutions development to business problems through the development and programming of applications / systems. May also provide research, installation, maintenance, configuration, administration and/or provisioning of systems/applications.

Depth & Scope:

• Foundational knowledge of specific domain or engineering frameworks, technology, tools, processes and procedures
• Performs medium to moderately complex technical tasks under general supervision
• Foundational knowledge of TD applications, systems, networks, innovation, design activities, best practices, business / organization, Bank standards
• Develops program specifications; adapts, integrates, codes, tests and debugs programs; and is responsible for executing
• Uses existing procedures to solve routine problems; makes limited exceptions

Education & Experience:

• Undergraduate degree, Postgraduate degree or Technical Certificate
• Strong academic background (e.g., computer science, engineering)
• 2+ years relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Role will be mainly supporting access and provisioning requirements for new delivery work related to UI Path, Power Platform, and Blue Prism 
• Role will also include Day 2 operations support for UI Path, Power Platform, and Blue Prism 
• Seeking a candidate who is self-motivated and proactive that can work well within a team and individually
• Background knowledge with Windows OS and general computer networking understanding is required
• Experience with UI Path, Blue Prism and Power Platform a plus but not required
• Ability to communicate clearly to various levels of internal customers.
• Ability to translate technical information to simple business information. 
• Experience with troubleshooting and diagnosing general application and Windows OS issues
