Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a full-time Early Career Software Engineer to join our Common Software Framework (CSF) team. In this role you will develop embedded software, create automated test frameworks, and work closely with systems engineers, and hardware teams to ensure that embedded flight software meets stringent aerospace standards for performance, safety, and reliability. CSF supports various Directed Energy programs and this role will have you exposed to engineers corporate wide. The successful candidate will have experience with programming languages such as C, C++ and experience/classroom knowledge with embedded software/hardware.

Basic Qualifications

-- Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering or other related degree program from an accredited college/university

-- Experience with programming languages such as C, C++

-- Experience or classroom knowledge with embedded software/hardware

Desired skills

-- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-- Experience with Gitlab and CI/CD
-- Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment
-- Ability to work across diverse teams

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
