Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a full time Early Career Software Engineer in Highlands Ranch, CO. In this role, you will support COMODO. COMODO (COmmon MicrOcontroller DevelOpers) is a new team within the Embedded SW Group in Lockheed Martin Space. COMODO will be focused on delivering reliable and rugged microcontroller software development and testing support across multiple programs. COMODO is looking for a Software Engineer who can contribute to our missions goals. In this role, you will be exposed to all phases of the microcontroller software design to development to test and verification.

This position is a great opportunity for someone who wants to grow their embedded software engineering skills and participate in demonstrations that shape the future use of programs that use microcontrollers. The ideal candidate has a strong desire to learn, is self-motivated, and a team player.

Basic Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree majoring in Computer Science or a related degree.
- Experience with C/C++
- Working knowledge of Git, GitLab, Jira, Confluence, or other CI/CD toolsets

Desired skills

- Comfortable working in a fast paced and dynamic multi-disciplinary environment
- Results driven, strong problem-solving/out of the box thinking skills
- Ability to perform software integration and test development activities
- Ability to work within multiple programming languages, operating systems, and development environments
- Experience with Microcontrollers (MSP430 or similar)
