Job Description:
Under the leadership of the Manager, Supervisor, Workforce Automation, a Software Engineer is responsible for analyzing, designing, developing, maintaining, and providing production support for CRM (Salesforce) software systems in accordance with business requirements and the technology roadmap.
Specialization
Software Engineers specialized in Workforce Automation configure, develop and deploy Salesforce software to improve the speed, efficiency and accuracy of business and IT processes and workers using tools such as OmniStudio, Apex, Flows, Lightning Web Controls, Visualforce, Copado. Direct experience in some or all of these technologies is required. Having Health care industry experience and working in an Agile environment and exposure to Conga are a big plus.
Job Responsibilities
Leadership
- Requires minimal supervision for routine tasks. Some guidance required for more complex tasks.
- Participates in team discussions and design sessions. Owns some designs and presents at ESG.
- Facilitates with business during requirements gathering, refinement, demonstrations and trainings.
- Complies with and contributes to development guidelines; performs code reviews.
- Respects organizational boundaries.
- Demonstrates their connection to purpose at Hill. Help teammates develop/find their purpose.
Job Complexity
- This role involves independent tasks and partly complex tasks solved predominantly through own decision making.
- Projects that are moderate in scope, risk, and/or organizational span, including subprojects of larger, more complex projects.
- Requires minimal guidance from lead, supervisor, or manager.
- Performs tasks that meet most of, but not limited to, following characteristics:
- Moderate process change/training to business unit employees
- Interdependencies with other areas
- Moderate changes to technology
- Operational Risk: Moderate to High
Required Experience
- 2-5 years in Health Care IT required.
- Salesforce Administration
- Salesforce Developer (Proficient in Apex, LWC, Visualforce)
- Omnistudio Developer (Proficient in Flexcards, OmniScripts, Integration Procedures, Data Mappers, Flows)
- Certification in above listed Preferred
Professional Skills
- Fundamentals of software development are mastered.
- Learning technologies and business specific to their specialty.
- Strong communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrates strong analytical, design, and documentation skills.
- Healthcare industry experience preferred.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite, MS Project, Visio, and collaboration tools
- Strong multi-tasker, self-starter
- Developing skills as mentor.
Required Education
- BS in Computer science or MIS preferred.
- Achieved certification relevant to specialty.
Additional Information
Salary: $100,000 - $122,000 Annual
