About the role
Develop Features: Implement and maintain application components, following coding standards and industry best practices.
Collaborate: Work with product managers, designers, and senior engineers to break down requirements and deliver features on time.
Secure Coding: Learn and apply secure development principles to meet government compliance requirements.
Continuous Learning: Stay current with emerging tools and technologies, contributing fresh ideas to the team.
Troubleshoot & Support: Assist in diagnosing and resolving issues within development and production environments.
About You
Experience: 2-3 years of professional software development or equivalent internships/projects.
Technical Foundation: Basic proficiency in Python or Java, with a desire to learn more about AWS, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and IaC (Terraform, Ansible/Puppet/Chef).
Database Fundamentals: Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., Postgres) is a plus.
Growth Mindset: Eager to learn new tools, patterns, and compliance standards, while contributing to team objectives.
Team-Oriented: Enthusiastic about collaborating and communicating effectively with peers and mentors.
Preferred Qualifications
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and version control practices.
Interest in or prior experience with compliance frameworks (e.g., FedRAMP, FIPS).
Familiarity with AWS GovCloud services.
