• This is a hybrid opportunity where you’ll work onsite with the client in Chicago, IL.

Salary Range: ($55 - 68/hr)

Now is the time to bring your research expertise to a Software Engineer role for a Fortune 500 Solutions Integrator where success and fulfillment go hand in hand. You’ll be at the forefront of helping businesses transform their cloud, data, AI, cybersecurity, and analytics to ensure they are future-ready.

 

As a Software Engineer with Insight, you’ll develop and maintain connectors to client systems including Confluence and ServiceNow.   We’ll count on you to write and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code. Along the way, you’ll document integration processes.

This role is within our Residency Offering, which is a solution that provides strategic technical resources to our customers on a contractual basis.

As a Software Engineer you’ll get to:    

• Design, develop and implement software connectors for integration with internal systems including Confluence and ServiceNow.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure seamless integration with client systems.
• Utilize Python for backend development and automation tasks.
• Manage containerized applications using Kubernetes to ensure scalability and reliability.

What you will need to succeed:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience
• 3+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on Python and Javascript.
• Strong understanding of Kubernetes and experience deploying applications in Azure.
• Able to work closely with the development team to ensure system consistency
