We are looking for a Software Engineer to build new capabilities in our Cargo Revenue Management product. As a  member of the engineering team, you will work closely with senior  staff and develop a new AI-driven cargo revenue management application.

What will your journey at FLYR look like: (Responsibilities)

  • You will build a greenfield new product offering on Cirrus platform, in order to disrupt the air cargo industry's pricing and revenue management problems.
  • You will develop robust and scalable application components in Python, Flask, PostgreSQL, BigQuery, Docker, Kubernetes, and more.
  • You will work in a product-focused scrum team consisting of software engineers and QA automation engineers, delivering against a roadmap managed by a dedicated product owner.  
  • You will collaborate with Technical Product Owners to deliver complex application features, end-user workflows, and external integration interfaces.

What you should pack for this trip: (Qualifications)

  • Progressive career experience as a software developer in a frontend/backend engineering,  ML engineering, or data engineering role. 
  • Strong academic background in Computer Science.
  • Experience with popular object-oriented or functional programming languages, preferably Python.
  • Working knowledge of SQL.
  • Fluent with unit testing and debugging techniques.
  • Experience with version control systems. 
  • Experience within an environment using CI/CD.
  • Experience with a public cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) highly preferred.   Experience with Google Cloud Platform is a plus.
  • Familiarity with BI tools.
  • Clear and effective communication skills.

  • Compensation: The salary range for this role is commensurate with experience and is as follows:
  • Starting minimum: $96,000
