We develop software across multiple Boeing programs, including Apache Helicopters, Fixed Wing Fighters, Space and Launch Systems, Autonomous Maritime, Aircraft simulators, and many more. Occasional travel may be required but would be less than 10%.
Position Responsibilities:
Software development, requirement definition, design, modeling/simulation, testing, and/or analysis
Knowledge & experience with at least one software languages, including but not limited to: C, C++, C#, Python, or Java
Develop applications that leverage cloud computing and containerization as Boeing transitions to a software centric organization
This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or other technical degree.
2 or more years' of professional experience with C, C++, C#, Python, Java, or Ada
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
3 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
5 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience in any of the following: Control Systems, Mission Systems, Flight Controls, Avionics Systems, Tools or Applications
Experience with embedded systems & RTOS development (VXWorks, GreenHills Integrity, etc.)
Experience developing and testing software on cloud infrastructure and containerization including Kubernetes and/or Docker
Experience with building and supporting CI/CD systems
Experience working in Agile software development frameworks
Experience with MatLab & Simulink for modeling
Typical Education/Experience:
Associate (Level 2):
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
