Software Engineer 3

Senior Software Engineer who is experienced in Java and JavaScript to join our DataRunner team. You will be a full-time member supporting a team of 8 members.

Capabilities

• Provide recommendations for new technologies and processes for complex software projects
• Serve as the technical lead of multiple software development teams
• Select the software development process in coordination with the customer and system engineering
• Esure quality control of all developed and modified software
• Delegate programming and testing responsibilities to one or more teams and monitor their performance

Required Qualifications

• TS/SCI clearance with polygraph clearance is required.
• Twelve (20) years’ experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree. 
• Minimum of 6 years of recent development experience.

Required Technical Skills

• Recommend new technologies and processes for complex software projects. Select the software development process in coordination with the customer and system engineering. 
• Ensure quality control of all developed and modified software. Delegate programming and testing responsibilities to one or more teams and monitor their performance.
• Develop simple data queries for existing or proposed databases or data repositories.
•  JavaScript, Java with strong UI background.
• Experienced working in a Linux development environment.
• Springboot, jquery, JavaScript, CSS are the primary technologies.
• Working with Bootstrap, Bootstrap-table, Ploty.

Desired Technical Skills

• Use of Velocity Templates and their dependencies on Jersey is currently part of our environment, however, Springboot will make these moot as we migrate away.
• AWS
• Automated toold, CI/CD
• Mongo, ElasticSearch, OpenSearch
• Tomcat
• UX experience
• 508 Compliance
