Department Overview

Bring your talent and skills to Motorola Solutions, as part of the Software Enterprise at the Salt Lake City Design Center. This software developer position will be a member of the team working on software (both on-premise enterprise grade and cloud based solutions) for Public Safety Agencies. These products are required to rise to the challenges of enterprises and governments worldwide enabling first-responders to focus on their mission, allowing them to respond faster with smarter and safer decisions.

Job Description

Analyzes, develops, designs, and maintains software Automation Test script for the organization’s products and systems.

Performs system integration of software and hardware to maintain throughput and program consistency.

Develops, validates, and tests: structures and user documentation.

This position is subject to working in high security areas governed by the US Department of Justice's "Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Security Policy" and therefore requires successfully passing a more stringent fingerprint background check administered by Motorola Solutions Inc. customers.

Basic Requirements

• Pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or similar field

• Must be graduating December 1st, 2024 or later

• Must be able to obtain background clearance as required by government customer
