Responsibilities

As a Senior Software Development Manager on the Network Automation team, you will own tooling and infrastructure to build, deliver and manage networking devices supporting OCI Compute and AI workloads. You will lead engineers working on distributed services supporting new generation network technologies, deployment, patching, fleet monitoring and automation, and security and access controls. You should be comfortable working in a fast-moving environment which requires agility, and the drive to deliver.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have expertise leading software development teams, building highly-scalable distributed systems, and operating large fleets of networking devices. You value simplicity and scale, work comfortably in a collaborative, agile environment, and are excited to learn.

Basic Qualifications:

• 4+ years of management experience in enterprise/cloud/embedded software
• 3+ years of experience with applications/embedded development
• Proficient with Linux
• 1+ years in large scale distributed applications or 2+ years in IOT
• Bachelors in computer science and Engineering or related engineering fields

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior cloud experience
• 10+ years of experience with applications/embedded development
• Experience developing telemetry and deployment applications for IOT or networking devices
• Experience with Agile, Jira & Confluence
• Experience with CICD, & Ops
• Masters / PhD degree in Computer Science or related engineering fields

 

Career Level - M3

As a manager of the software engineering division, you will apply your knowledge of software architecture to manage software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications, operating systems and databases according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and suggest improvements to the architecture.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $107,100 to $251,600 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
