The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking an experienced Software Development Manager to lead our Full Stack development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions.

*The position requires to be On-Site in either St. Louis, MO or Springfield, VA*

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of software developers, providing technical guidance and mentorship
• Oversee the development of software applications using modern technical stacks
• Design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient software solutions using AWS services
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables
• Ensure software development best practices are followed, including coding standards, testing, and deployment
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources
• Identify and mitigate technical risks, and develop strategies for improvement

Qualifications:
Required: 

• Active Top Secret Clearance
• 8+ years of experience in software development, with 3+ years of management experience
• Strong technical expertise in modern technical stacks (e.g., Angular, Node.js, React, etc.)
• Expertise in web development , with focus on JavaScript based technologies
• Experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases
• Experience with AWS services, including deployment, management, and security
• Proven experience with agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban)
• Proven leadership and management skills, with ability to motivate and guide a team
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Strong problem-solving skills, with ability to analyze complex technical issues
• Requires to be On-Site in either St. Louis, MO or Springfield, VA
   

Desired:

• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools
• Familiarity with cloud-based technologies beyond AWS
• Experience with containerization (e.g., Docker) and orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts, frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch), and tools (e.g., AWS SageMaker, Azure ML)
