The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking an experienced Software Development Manager to lead our Full Stack development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions.
*The position requires to be On-Site in either St. Louis, MO or Springfield, VA*
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of software developers, providing technical guidance and mentorship
- Oversee the development of software applications using modern technical stacks
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient software solutions using AWS services
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables
- Ensure software development best practices are followed, including coding standards, testing, and deployment
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources
- Identify and mitigate technical risks, and develop strategies for improvement
Qualifications:
Required:
- Active Top Secret Clearance
- 8+ years of experience in software development, with 3+ years of management experience
- Strong technical expertise in modern technical stacks (e.g., Angular, Node.js, React, etc.)
- Expertise in web development , with focus on JavaScript based technologies
- Experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases
- Experience with AWS services, including deployment, management, and security
- Proven experience with agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban)
- Proven leadership and management skills, with ability to motivate and guide a team
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Strong problem-solving skills, with ability to analyze complex technical issues
- Requires to be On-Site in either St. Louis, MO or Springfield, VA
Desired:
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools
- Familiarity with cloud-based technologies beyond AWS
- Experience with containerization (e.g., Docker) and orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts, frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch), and tools (e.g., AWS SageMaker, Azure ML)
