Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)
ComcastAbout the role
Job Summary
This position will be with the OTTV team where we implement configurations for third party applications to operate on all of the various Comcast ecosystems and set top boxes. Our duties include certifying third party apps prior to being deployed to production and working closely with the product team to resolve any issues we find during that process. We also implement the code which allows the apps to then be used by our customers. We then track the app in production to ensure that it continues to perform as desired. Since we do not control the code of these apps directly, this means we need to adapt quickly and effectively to any changes that third party app partners might make to their app.Job Description
