Software Developer SAP FS-RI

If you want to experience how things are done in the Information Technology - FA, RI Operations and Data Analytics - IT Reinsurance Accounting team at our headquarters in Hannover/Germany, join us on a temporary basis for a fixed term of 24 months as a Software Developer SAP FS-RI. 

Your Tasks

You analyse, conceptualise, implement and coordinate software changes in the SAP solution for reinsurance management FS-RI.

• Customising the specialist requirements in the modules for external and internal accounting in SAP FS-RI and S/4 HANA
• (Further) development of source codes, technical documentation and references in SAP FS-RI and S/4 HANA 
• Acceptance tests for externally developed software and code reviews
• Creation and execution of module tests as well as subsequent system integration and interface programming
• Handling 2nd-level support requests as well as troubleshooting in collaboration with the Service Desk

Your Profile

• Experience in object-oriented software development
• Expertise in SAP FS as well as the SAP authorisation system; prior knowledge of S/4HANA is an asset 
• Strong affinity for processes in accounting 
• Bachelor's degree in business IT, business administration or a comparable qualification with relevant internships or completed Master's degree 
• Proficient user skills in German and English (at least level C1)
• Willingness to go on occasional business trips, roughly once or twice a year
