Description
This role represents an ideal fusion of senior software development expertise and technical leadership, where one will leverage advanced proficiency in low-code/no-code platforms—particularly Appian—to architect sophisticated solutions for systems like the Electronic Contract Writing Module (ECWM). In this capacity, the ideal candidate will seamlessly integrate expertise in BPMN standards, workflow automation, and API development with deep proficiency in the AWS technology stack—including EKS, EC2, Lambda, and S3—as well as AI/ML platforms. The role will benefit from advanced knowledge of Oracle databases, Java, and Linux, with a strong focus on design optimization, performance tuning, and scalable data integration patterns. They will apply Agile methodologies through Scrum and Kanban frameworks to drive iterative development and continuous improvement. Through advanced problem-solving capabilities and systematic analysis, this individual could translate complex business requirements into elegant technical solutions, employing secure coding practices that align with Government compliance frameworks and OWASP guidelines. Should have strong technical skills to conduct thorough code reviews, and recommend strategic system architectural decisions, while demonstrating exceptional documentation and communication abilities to facilitate knowledge transfer and stakeholder engagement across both technical and non-technical audiences. The Software Developer will enhance the data layer by leveraging APIs, data fabric architectures, and microservices to enable scalable, real-time data access and integration. This approach ensures modularity, improves system performance, and supports seamless interoperability across distributed applications. Must have experience with Government contracting systems, Federal regulations, and enterprise-scale implementations would further enhance one's ability to deliver high-quality solutions that meet stringent requirements while fostering innovation and technical excellence throughout the development lifecycle.
Minimum Requirements:
- Five (5)+ years of skilled experience in using BPMN-based low-code/no-code tools to model business processes and develop automation software that aligns with operational workflows and compliance standards.
- Five (5)+ years demonstrated experience integrating and leveraging APIs to support Low-Code/No-Code development platform models for scalable and modular application design.
- Proven track record in agile application development, enabling rapid delivery of business solutions with iterative refinement.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and AI/ML integration strategies.
- Experience using software and tools such as, Ansible Orchestration, Apache Web Server (mod_jk), Appian, Elasticsearch, Git Lab, JBoss (EAP &Fuse), Kafka, Keycloak, Kubernetes, Java (AMQ Broker), Open Shift, Oracle , RHEL Server, Tomcat, Zookeeper.
- Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority such as Google, AWS, Microsoft and/or professional organizations such as IEEE and Scrum Alliance.
- Must possess IT-II Non-Critical Sensitive security clearance or Tier 3 (T3).
