Software Developer 3

The Compute Quality team is tasked with ensuring Compute maintains a high bar in code quality.  We are looking for a Software Developer with a particular interest in driving continued improvements in testing and resiliency.  Work with various teams to find and measure quality gaps in code and testing, then design and develop frameworks/tooling to fix those gaps.  Work to refine and maintain a quality bar both at the organization level and for individual teams.  Provide reports on status, progress, and risk areas to hold teams accountable and keep senior leadership informed.  Design and automation will be critical to maintaining coverage at scale.  The team has a large charter with critical business impact.

Tasks will vary in detail and complexity, with regular reporting required.   Verbal, written, and technical communication are essential, along with a background in resiliency, debugging, and robust testing.  BS or MS degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, with 4+ years of software engineering experience.

As part of the Compute Quality team, you will be collaborating across teams in the organization.  You will be tasked with measuring testing effectiveness, developing testing frameworks, tooling and automation.  Work closely with each team to fine tune requirements and ensure that necessary support is provided.  Generate and automate regular reports, implement guardrails, and help dictate priority areas of improvement.

US: Hiring Range: from $74,800 to $178,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
