Augustine Consulting Inc. is a Woman-Owned Small Business professional services provider of engineering and technical services to the United States Government. We seek an experienced, self-starting Software Configuration Manager to serve as a part of the Company’s Engineering Services team that supports PEO Soldier.
Duties and Responsibilities:
As an ACI Software Configuration Manager, you will have opportunities to interface with senior level customers, Warfighters, and leadership while performing the following functions:
- Create, update, and maintain the Software Configuration Management Plan (SCMP).
- Define, develop, document, and implement, through the Software Configuration Change Board (SCCB), all Configuration Management processes and procedures required to achieve the goals of the SCMP.
- Manage the Software Development Libraries (SDL).
- Provide ongoing development, oversight, validation, verification and support for change management within the configuration management tools.
- Train personnel on the use of configuration management tools.Set up and maintain the Git repositories.
- Audit and package products for in-house checkout and formal validation.
- Release products for use in development, validations, and pre-launch readiness rehearsals.
- Familiar with Agile/SAFe/Scrum and continuous integration/development (CI/CD) methodologies.
- Perform the Configuration Status Accounting (CSA).
- Conduct Configuration Management reviews and audits, Baseline Audits, and In-Process Audits.

Required Qualifications:
- Must be a US Citizen, in order to obtain a DOD security clearance
- Must currently possess or have ability to obtain a Secret security clearance
- Bachelor's degree in a related field and one year relevant experience or,
- Master's degree in a related field and zero experience
- Excellent communications skills, both written and oral
- Experience working in an Agile Software Development Environment
- Strong knowledge of Git and Atlassian Software Suite to include JIRA, Bitbucket, Confluence, and Bamboo
- Familiar with Linux Operating System
- Strong knowledge of Android OS and Android application development
- Strong knowledge of Windows Operating System
