Social Work | Research AdministrationThis position will work on the 988 Call Line Quality Assurance (QA) Project that will assess the quality of services provided through Ohio’s 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline. This project will work to analyze the quality of the phone call responses provided by the 19 call centers across Ohio. The 988 Call Line QA Project has profound impact for the State of Ohio as it will assess the quality of the services being provided via the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline that serves tens of thousands of individuals in need each year.
The LISW-S will work independently to assess the quality of calls and services. This position will be the primary individual to analyze data and call metrics, assess and review data, and develop new practices and solutions as needed to meet the needs of the program based on best practices co-developed with The Ohio Department of Mental Health & Addition Services. This position will independently to curate and deliver trainings for the network based on the findings from the quality assurance efforts. This position is responsible for curating these trainings with little oversight. This position is responsible for conveying complex and sensitive information to stakeholders while following all OSU policies and procedures and any applicable state or federal laws (i.e. HIPAA). The LISW-S will also work alongside the PI to produce monthly reporting for the project funder.
Please note: This is a term position contingent upon external funding. Travel may be required but would be no more than 5% of the total time in the role.
Required Qualifications
Master's Degree in Social Work. Independent License, with Supervision designation. LISW-S or LPCC-S. 2 years of relevant experience required.
Desired Qualifications
4-6 years of relevant experience preferred
Responsibilities
- 85% - Conducting quality assurance activities. The primary function of this role will be to manage the quality assurance program of monitoring the 988 call center network, and to hold network-wide training calls with LISW-S-curated training topics based on the quality assurance program findings.
- 10% - Reporting – A secondary function of this role will be to assist the PI with regular reporting for the funder.
- 5% - Miscellaneous activities. This position may also be responsible for other infrequent tasks and job duties as assigned.
Salary range is $67,600 -$84,550 annually. The actual salary will fall within this range based on the candidate’s qualifications, internal equity, and the unit’s available budget.
