Job Summary:
Production of machine-made snow, while striving for quality, safety, and efficiency to ensure an exceptional experience for our guests. Work with Manager to establish operational plans, monitor, and maintain snowmaking system, and supervise snowmaking staff. Oversee the daily operation of all snowmaking systems and personnel.

- Shift & Schedule Availability: Year Round / Full Time
- The budgeted range starts at $25/hr - $29.55/hr. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
Job Responsibilities:
- Adhere to all snowmaking policies, safety guidelines and best practice procedures at all times.
- Operate all transportation vehicles as per the standard operating procedures.
- Responsible for documented training on safe and efficient operation of all snowmaking equipment.
- Responsible for documented training of all standards, enterprise best practices, and safety procedures as instructed and outlined in the operational manual.
- Operate, inspect, and maintain snowmaking system alongside Manager.
- Intimate knowledge of system controller responsibilities.
- Effective communication between shifts, team leadership, and adjacent teams within the resort.
- Ensure all administrative duties including timekeeping, shift reporting, maintenance requests, training, and other record-keeping is accurate and contemporaneous.
- Advanced level snowmobile operations.
- Fan gun maintenance and troubleshooting skills.
- Maintain contemporaneous shift logs.
- Ensure regular delivery safety meetings and inspections.
- Run entirety of snowmaking operation in absence of Manager.
- Implement initiatives with Manager to improve guest service, safety, and other resort and enterprise-based imperatives.
- Assist with installation and maintenance of all snowmaking equipment and systems.
- Assist with capital and operational planning.
Job Requirements:
Required:
- High School Diploma/ GED or Equivalent
- Valid Driver’s License without restrictions is required
- Must be able to read, write and understand English
- Ability to ski or snowboard at a level 6 ability if necessary
Preferred
- Complex understanding of mechanical equipment and snowmaking operations
- 5 years prior snowmaking experience
- Supervisory Experience: 2 years prior supervisory experience
- MS Office competency
