POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Smart Workspace Project Manager is responsible for leading and managing strategic projects with the intent of driving positive sustained results and improving key performance indicators. Core areas of focus will include but are not limited to project Management, Planning & Demand Forecasting, Procurement, Inventory Management, and Logistics. The candidate will have a strong understanding of lean principles, proven successful experience implementing process change, with the ability to work cross-functionally across departments, as well as communicate effectively up and down the organizational structure.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Develop and execute comprehensive project plans for smart building initiatives, encompassing technology integration, automation, and energy management.
• Ensure adherence to project timelines, budget, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including architects, engineers, vendors, and clients, to align project goals with organizational objectives.
• Generate regular updates for project stakeholders and leadership & act as the primary point of contact for project-related communication.
• Oversee the integration of smart technologies such as IoT devices, sensors, building automation systems, and energy management solutions into building infrastructure.
• Work closely with technical teams to ensure seamless connectivity and interoperability.
• Implement strategies for enhancing energy efficiency and sustainability within smart buildings.
• Explore and recommend innovative technologies to reduce environmental impact.
• Identify potential risks associated with smart building projects and develop effective mitigation plans.
• Proactively address challenges to ensure successful project delivery.
• Implement quality assurance processes to ensure that smart building solutions meet performance and reliability standards.
• Conduct testing and validation of integrated technologies.
• Manage project budgets, track expenditures, ensure cost-effective solutions and provide regular financial updates to stakeholders.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including progress reports, technical documentation, and post-implementation reviews.

DESIRED CRITERIA:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Project Management).
• Proficient use of project methodology such as PMP.
• Proven experience as a Project Manager in the implementation of smart building solutions.
• Strong knowledge of smart building technologies, automation systems, and energy management.
• Excellent project management and leadership skills.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Familiarity with regulatory standards and sustainability practices in the construction industry.
