THE JOB:
The primary responsibility of the Slots Guest Services Representative at Mandalay Bay is to enhance the guest's Slot experience by assisting with property and slot-related questions, slot machine payouts, and enrollment in MGM Resorts International Rewards Program. Be able to complete required Regulatory and Federal Tax paperwork and appropriately validate guest age using government-issued ID's.
THE STARTING PAY: $16 per hour + tips
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Accurate Jackpot Payouts: Pays slot machine jackpots and completes IRS W2G/1042-S forms with precision.
Guest Enrollment & Verification: Enroll guests in the MGM Resorts International Rewards Program, ensuring compliance with ID and age verification guidelines.
Proactive Guest Service: Assists with slot-related questions, keeps the slot area organized, and provides personalized guest service.
Minor Slot Machine Repairs: Handles minor repairs like clearing jams and replacing ticket paper to ensure smooth operations.
Knowledgeable & Engaged: Recommends MGM shows and attractions, stays informed on slot machines and maintains vigilance for underage gambling.
AN IDEAL CANDIDATE:
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent educational experience.
1+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience as a Slot Guest Service Representative.
Experience working in a similar resort setting.
Money handling skills in demonstrated experience in managing and processing financial transactions accurately and efficiently
Strong mathematical skills for quick and accurate calculations
An outgoing, positive, and can-do approach to delivering exceptional guest service.
Experience with IRS forms and knowledge of generating IRS W2G/1042-S forms
