Responsibilities
Peraton requires a Deputy Program Manager (DPM) to support the U.S. Special Operations Command Enterprise Information Technology Contract (SITEC) 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintencance (EOM) Task Order at MacDill AFB, FL. In this position, the DPM will provided direct support to the SITEC 3 EOM Program Manager in the day-to-day execution of the $2.8B program to provide enterprise level information technology support to U.S. Special Operation Command Headquarters, Theater Special Operations Commands, and Components in both CONUS and OCONUS locations.
The purpose of the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order (TO) is to provide USSOCOM, its Component Commands, its Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), and its deployed forces with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to maintain Network Operations (NetOps); maintain systems and network infrastructure; provide end user and common device support; provide configuration, change, license, and asset management; conduct training, and perform Install, Move, Add, Change (IMACs) services. The responsibilities and tasks associated with each requirement play a pivotal role to USSOCOM, the CIO/J6 organization, and ultimately the end-user who operate around the globe 24x7x365.
This position may require shift work and/or an ability to work a non-standard work schedule to support the USSOCOM mission.
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Accountable for overall program financial & non-financial program goals.
- Helps drive cost, schedule and performance as the right hand of the SITEC 3 EOM PM.
- Monitors deliverables, ensures accurate/timely invoice submission, ensures smooth program execution.
- Drives process and program improvements; ensures program AQLs are met.
- Ensure maximum award fees are secured through program performance, and grow new business over time by building customer intimacy.
- Facilitate securing all option years awarded through superior performance.
- Monitor staff morale, as well as synthesize program information to allow the PM and Corporate leaders to focus on critical business operations.
- Serve as focal point within the local defense industry community through attendance at networking events to include: AFCEA, NDIA, WID, Global SOF, and SOFWeek; serve as brand amabassador for Peraton in Tampa
Qualifications
Required qualifications:
- An active DoD Security clearance at the TS clearance or higher level is required
- 15+ years in a Program/Operations managment role in support of DoD programs at the COCOM or similar level to include a minimum of 15 years of experience managing complex projects in an enterprise level IT environment including managing and leading geographically dispersed staff of varying skill levels (JR, JNY, SR, SME) that operate 24x7x365.
- PmP/PgMP certification for Program Management Institute
- ITIL Foundation Certifications
- DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification
- Master's Degree in a technical field - Computer Science, Systems Engineering, etc.
- Candidate must be local to Tampa market - no remote/telecommute
Desired qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Business Management/Operations or a similar field
- DoD 8570 IAM Level II Certification
- Prior USSOCOM experience supporting the J6 - Active Duty, Gov't civilian, or DoD contractor

Target Salary Range
