The Single Order Fulfillment Associate works in preparing and shipping devices in Single Order Fulfillment and professional device areas of the OraSure distribution centers.

The Single Order Fulfillment Associate works in preparing and shipping devices in Single Order Fulfillment and professional device areas of the OraSure distribution centers.
Snapshot of Responsibilities
- Fully trained in the area of medical device kitting and shipping including:
- Perform on-line inspection of all components/parts produced. Take corrective action and/or make recommendations to the supervisor.
- Complete all paperwork and equipment logbooks and review other operator's paperwork for accuracy and completeness as required.
- Must follow all GMP and company safety regulations and guidelines.
- Complete material transfers in SAP and physically and using pallet jacks, stretch wrappers, or other material handling equipment
- Pick, pack, and ship all fulfillment orders in accordance with SOP’s and work instructions as required.
- Assist in the pick, pack, and shipping of domestic and international professional orders according to quality and shipping procedures
- Fully trained on DOT and IATA regulations relevant to OraSure Technologies’ products
- Fully trained to ship Hazmat according to DOT and IATA regulations
- Complete environmental monitoring and other quality and safety logs as required
- Perform cycle counts / physical inventory in the warehouse as requested
- Assist in monitoring non-inventory supplies as requested
- Maintain appropriate material segregation in the warehouse and follow all Material Control processes and procedures
- Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, well-organized warehouse
- Ensure GMP compliance through use of appropriate physical, written and work practice controls
- Follow all safety practices and procedures
- Assist with other special projects / assignments as requested
What You Bring
- High School Graduate and/or College courses
- 3 to 5 years working experience with medical device assembly, packaging, or shipping
- GMP/ISO manufacturing operations experience desirable
- Knowledge of commercial shipping methods and practices (international and domestic)
- Trained on current DOT and IATA Hazmat rules and regulations governing safe handling of hazardous/dangerous materials
- Communicate in English both orally and in writing
- Windows-based computer skills required, familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel desirable.
- Experience with GMP/ISO manufacturing operations desired
- Ability to perform simple arithmetic; use calculators, scales and other measuring equipment
- Good organizational skills are required.
- Ability to work as a team member and foster a cooperative work environment
- Working primarily in a warehouse environment, this role should be prepared for physical demands associated with the handling, storage, and distribution of goods. This may involve tasks such as lifting and carrying packages of varying weight (up to 100 pounds), operating material handling equipment (e.g., forklift, pallet jack), and performing repetitive movements like bending, reaching, lifting and stretching. Additionally, the employee may be required to sit or stand for extended periods. Attention to workplace safety protocols, proper lifting techniques, and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) are integral aspects of meeting
